The fall season starts this week and I know everyone is excited to play again, but before you do, you must sign a waiver. The referees will have the waivers on the field for you to sign before your games this week. Please read the Return to Play Guidelines on the website. It’s important that everyone follow these guidelines. The league rules are also on the website, please read them; the “cautionable offenses” outline what the suspensions will be for yellow and red card offenses. Remember, do not verbally abuse the referees or anyone for that matter, you will not like the consequences.
Most teams appear to have enough players to start tomorrow, but there are a few teams that still don’t have enough players registered yet. Please get them registered today or they can’t play tomorrow. Remember, no more passes to play, if you have five players, the match must start on time or you will forfeit the game and pay a $50 fine.
I think it may be appropriate that before the games start this week that we have a moment of silence on the field to remember the players, friends and family members that we have lost due this virus.
